The museum is imagined not as a single monumental structure, but as a network of interconnected spaces that promote exploration and interaction. These volumes; housing exhibitions, archives, research areas, and workshops; are linked by a shared outdoor public space which act as the in-between breathing spaces beneath a carefully designed canopy that provides shelter, environmental moderation, and a unique sense of place. This canopy serves multiple purposes, such as protective infrastructure, shielding against heavy snow, rainfall, and summer heat. The sustainability engine collects rainwater for reuse and reduces energy loads, the public invitation turns the museum into a year-round public destination. The architectural unity ties together multiple museum functions into a coherent whole. This design not only supports core cultural responsibilities but introduces a variety of revenue-generating components that are carefully integrated into the spatial logic of the campus. These elements contribute to the museum’s financial resilience without compromising its core values.
