The project area is characterised by a complex urban morphology woven between existing buildings but fragmented by vehicular infrastructure and discontinuous pedestrian routes. While several green spaces exist, they currently function as isolated pockets rather than as an integrated system. Despite this fragmentation, these open areas hold strong potential as structuring elements within the broader urban fabric. The proposal introduces a landscape-led regeneration strategy that transforms disconnected spaces into a coherent network of light infrastructure prioritising people over vehicles. By strengthening and connecting existing green areas, the project establishes a continuous public realm that improves pedestrian and cycling circulation while creating safe, accessible, and high-quality spaces for the local community. Rather than imposing a new spatial order, the strategy builds upon the existing urban structure, enhancing ecological and social value.
