H Residence is a residential house located in Sands Point, New York. The design concept explores the addition of a new extension on the northeast side. Drawing inspiration from the interplay of different volumes in the existing villa, the proposal introduces two expansive sloped roofs on the side of the residence facing the Bay. To achieve a harmonious façade, the design suggests cladding the existing portion with the same materials as the new extension. The new wing features generous, full-height curtain wall openings to optimize bay views.
